SPEAKER - ENGINEER - ADVOCATE

You don’t have to follow

the straight line.

I’m Alli Koester — software engineer, former Physician Assistant, and proof that a non-linear career path isn’t a detour. It’s the whole point. I help women in tech own their reinvention and build careers that actually fit their lives.

After nearly a decade in healthcare, I started over in tech, and I’ve never looked back.

MY STORY

From the OR to the IDE — on purpose.

After nearly a decade as a Physician Assistant, I made a decision that confused a lot of people: I left medicine to become a software engineer. No bootcamp safety net, no industry connections - just a conviction that I had more reinvention left in me.

Today I speak at conferences, build digital tools for women in tech through FemmeTechCollective, and show up for the women who are somewhere in the middle of their own pivot. Career reinvention isn’t a crisis. It’s a compass.
